For those of you who can't follow the Hebrew, Maayan, counsellor at Shirat HaYam School in Kiryat Yam explains how Talia Trust has transformed the lives of their students. At the beginning of the year the children said,' I am nothing. I don't know anything.' Thanks to the Talia Trust the school set up a quality professional remedial program including reading and learning strategies. Now after the children have followed this program and learned successfully and made so much progress, our staff see the amazing effect on their confidence and self-image, knowing they are capable of academic success.
