Chag Shavuot Sameach
See Marilyn's latest NEWSLETTER where she reports on our projects, including the Neve Yosef Centre in Haifa. She quotes Hibaat, one of the teachers, who says: 'We cherish and appreciate the significant support you provide to the learning centre and students.' To all our students and staff in our Talia Trust projects as well as our loyal supporters who enable our successes for children who need this vital support, we wish you chag Shavuot sameach.

Visit to Neve Yosef Project
Our volunteer has made her regular 3 monthly visit to the Neve Yosef Centre in Haifa to discuss the Talia Trust project with the teachers. There are 2 small groups of children who meet for an hour twice a week after their day in their local primary schools. One of the teachers, Sarah, commented that despite the prolonged break because of the war situation, she felt the children had not gone backwards (which is often the case) but returned at the same level as before. We give 'anchors of stability'

Maayan, the counsellor at Shirat HaYam school in Kiryat Yam writes: 'Returning to the frameworks brings with it great relief, along with the need to process and adapt. The students were very happy to return to school, we see that the consistency of the programme is an anchor of stability for them. They need these sessions now more than ever to fill gaps and also to find a place for personal expressio

Group therapy is possible when the children have shared concerns. Shirat HaYam school in Kiryat Yam has requested an extension to the group therapy programme that we funded last year. They were very eager to interact with the specialist teacher who had very firm control. You can see in the photos how much the children enjoyed and were engaged in the activities of Chanukah preparations. They got positive feedback by the teacher. Over the four years that Talia Trust has assisted at
