Learning at Shirat Yam School

More fun Chanukah preparations

In the visit in December we saw one of our four Talia Trust groups at Shirat HaYam school.  All 5 children in this Class 2 group were in attendance. They were very eager to interact with the specialist teacher who had very firm control. You can see in the photos how much the children enjoyed and were engaged in the activities of Chanukah preparations. They got positive feedback by the teacher.

Over the four years that Talia Trust has assisted at this school in KIryat Yam, it has grown substantially in numbers and widened its ethnic mix. The school strives to give its children not just an education but also to give them a feeling of belonging and identity.
