Why do we ask you if you can read any of them?
Your ability to read a different script can be compared to the challenges of a person with specific learning difficulties (SpLD).
It may be different for each child.
Examples include: Being able to differentiate letters or numbers, seeing them in the correct sequence, or seeing them jumbled.
How to make the text accessible?
Talia Trust helps by supporting projects so that the young people can acquire learning strategies which enable them to learn to read the text. Usually they need a course to acquire these learning strategies to succeed.
You, our readers may not have SpLD, but reading online can be a challenge, especially when the text too small.
Here are some hints to help you:
You can alter Settings which will make the screen image clearer.
If you are using a computer, to make a permanent change -
(Note the wording may be different on your package and your equipment - desktop, laptop, iphone, android.)
1. Go to Settings /Display/Make everything bigger
2. Go to Settings/ Display/Make text bigger - then move sliding arrow up or down
3. Go to Settings/ Accessibility - which will take you to Display
Using your mouse you can do a temporary change:
Hold down the Ctrl key and at same time press down the righthand mouse button and scroll up with the mouse wheel. – you may need scroll down to reduce the size until you reach the optimum size.
