Progress at Givat Gonen Forest School

Dorit our teacher at Givat Gonen Forest School writes that she is 'teaching 'the magic e' today to the new group of 4th graders.(See the photos to see how they find a final 'e' which affects pronunciation)

'This group is doing great, all of them came to me not knowing any sounds...Today they read ...words and small sentences.'

'In 3rd grade G and A have returned to the classroom. G is doing great... A still will need help, but he didn't come to all the lessons.

'I am teaching now 2 new girls, who don't know any sounds and am hoping to give them some basic knowledge of the sounds before the year ends.'

Dorit also says she thinks the photos are boring but they do indicate how the students engage in their work.
